The GUJCET entrance exam for the 2026 session will be conducted on March 29, 2026 in pen and paper based offline mode. As of now, the time is not out. Candidates will be able to check the exact timings in their respective admit card.

The GUJCET syllabus is based on Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/Biology topics from NCERT class 12 textbooks. Candidates can download the syllabus from the official website. It will be mentioned in the information brochure.

The last date to fill the GUJCET 2025 registration form is December 30, 2025. Candidates can apply from the official website after paying the application fee which is INR 350 for all candidates irrespective of category.

The GUJCET form 2025 is released on its official website gujcet.gseb.org on December 16, 2025. Candidates can apply till December 30, 2025.

The GUJCET exam will be held on March 29, 2026. The test will be held in pen and paper-based mode.

The GUJCET registration form 202 was released on December 16, 2025 and students meeting the minimum eligibility criteria can apply till the last date which is December 30, 2025.

Once the GUJCET application form 202 is submitted by candidates, at the last page they are advised to download the application form PDF for future reference.

The GUJCET 2026 is prescribed by the GSEB and mentioned in the information brochure. As per the past year syllabus, the subjects, topics and sub-topics are the same. Candidates preparing for the GUCJET exam must refer to the syllabus for preparation. The syllabus is based on 10+2 level NCERT.

The GUCJET registrations have been started and the exam body is accepting applications from December 16, 2025 onwards. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria can apply till December 30, 2025. 

In the GUJCET exam there will be a total of 120 questions of 1 mark each out of which 40 each will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Math's. The time duration of the GUJCET will be 3 hours. 

The GUJCET exam is held in offline mode as a pen-and-paper-based test. There will be two papers in the exam. The Paper 1 will have questions from Physics and Chemistry, and Paper 2 will have questions from Maths. 

The exam body releases the GUJCET 2026 exam pattern in  notification PDF and it consists of the sections, total number of questions asked in the exam, exam time duration, number of sections, and marking scheme. 

Yes there will be negative marking in the exam and out of 1 mark allotted to the exam, 0.25 will be deducted as incorrect answer. 

Once the registration process is complete, the exam body will release the GUJCET Admit Card 2026. It is expected that the admit card will be released in March 2026 as the exam is scheduled for March 29, 2026.

If student make any during the GUJCET form fill-up, GSEB may open a correction window after the registration period ends. During the correction window, they will be able to edit fields such as personal details, subject group, etc., during this time.

While registering for GUJCET, students must have the following documents handy - 

• Passport-sized photograph (recent)
• Signature (black ink on white paper)
• Class 10th and 12th marksheets (if available)
• Valid Email ID and Mobile number
• Aadhaar Card or other valid ID
• Category certificate (if applicable)

Nationality: Indian citizen with Gujarat domicile.

Academic Qualification: Must have passed or appeared in Class 12th or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics (for Engineering) or Physics and Biology (for Pharmacy).

Minimum Marks: Minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in qualifying subjects

• On the homepage, click on the "New Registration" tab
• Enter name, active email ID, and mobile number, and generate a one-time password.
• One OTP will be shared on the registered mobile number
• Enter the password to authenticate the account.
• Use the email address and password to log in again to the website from the homepage
• Pay the GUJCET application fee in online mode via debit card, credit card, or net banking
• Fill the application form in detail by adding all the details, such as academic qualifications, and submit documents as per the prescribed format
• Before finally submitting the application form, check for any errors
• Submit the form and download a copy for future reference

The GUJCET official website is gseb.org and gujcet.gseb.org. Candidates can visit the official website and perform "New Registration". They must then use these credentials to login into the website and fill the application form in detail.

The GUJCET registration 2026 starts today, December 16, 2025. Candidates can fill the online application form by from gujcet.gseb.org. The application form can be submitted in online only mode. To successfully submit the form, they will have to pay the application fee, which is INR 350.

The exam body also opens the application correction window for candidates who make any mistakes while filling out the application form. If students make any errors in the application form, they can rectify them during the application correction window.

As far as the GUJCET eligibility criteria is concerned, candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics & Maths compulsory. For general category candidates the minimum qualifying marks is 45% while reserved category candidates will be selected if they have scored at least 40%. There are no upper age limits for the exam, however the minimum age is 16 years+.

After registering, they will receive their login credentials on their registered email address. Students can use these login credentials to login into the website again and fill the application form in detail.

As the GUJCET entrance exam is scheduled to be held on March 29, 2026, the results can be expected by the end of April 2026. Based on candidates qualification as per the results, candidates will be shortlisted for engineering and pharmacy courses in participating colleges in the state of Gujarat.

As per the official syllabus of GUJCET, the exam paper borrows questions from the 10+2 level NCERT curriculum. The subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (Engineering), Biology (Pharmacy). The difficulty level of the exam is of moderate to difficult level.

According to the minus marking, 0.25 will be deducted per answer for each wrong answer attempted by the student. The entrance exam will be held in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. It will be conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper-based mode.

In the GUJCET exam, the questions are asked from 10+2 level Science stream subjects. The question paper is in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) format, and the questions are based on Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Biology. The question paper tests candidates' knowledge of the Class 11 & 12 GSEB syllabus. The difficulty level of the GUJCET exam ranges from moderate to difficult. Math is generally on the tricky side.

• Indian nationals residing in Gujarat can fill out the application form
• They must have passed or be appearing in the 12th grade or equivalent exam.
• For BPharm, students must have studied either Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in 12th grade.
• For BE/BTech, they must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in 12th grade.
• Minimum required marks for general category candidates is 45% in class 12
• Minimum required marks for reserved category candidates is 40% in class 12

While filling out the GUJCET application form 2026, candidates will have to upload their scanned documents. These documents need to be uploaded as per the specified format prescribed by the exam body. To be precise, the scanned images must be in JPG/JPEG format, sized between 5 KB and 50 KB.
