GUJCET 2026 Registration (Starts); Dates, Direct link, Eligibility, Steps to apply

As per the GUJCET marking scheme, each question will carry 1 mark each and there will also be negative marking. According to the minus marking, 0.25 will be deducted per answer for each wrong answer attempted by the student. The entrance exam will be held in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. It will be conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper-based mode.

The GHSHEB released the GUJCET application form 2026. Candidates can visit the official website https://gujcet.gseb.org/ to apply.

In the GUJCET exam, the questions are asked from 10+2 level Science stream subjects. The question paper is in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) format, and the questions are based on Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Biology. The question paper tests candidates' knowledge of the Class 11 & 12 GSEB syllabus. The difficulty level of the GUJCET exam ranges from moderate to difficult. Math is generally on the tricky side.

Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria can fill out the online application form of GUJCET. If they fill it and at a certain stage their eligibility is found to be dubious, their candidature might be rejected. Check here the GUJCET eligibility criteria - 

• Indian nationals residing in Gujarat can fill out the application form
• They must have passed or be appearing in the 12th grade or equivalent exam.
• For BPharm, students must have studied either Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in 12th grade.
• For BE/BTech, they must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in 12th grade.
• Minimum required marks for general category candidates is 45% in class 12
• Minimum required marks for reserved category candidates is 40% in class 12

While filling out the GUJCET application form 2026, candidates will have to upload their scanned documents. These documents need to be uploaded as per the specified format prescribed by the exam body. To be precise, the scanned images must be in JPG/JPEG format, sized between 5 KB and 50 KB.

While filling the GUJCET 2026 application form, candidates must follow these steps - 

• Visit the official website and register.
• Fill out the application form in detail
• Upload the scanned documents as per the prescribed format
• Pay the application fee in online mode

The GUJCET application fee is INR 350 which can be paid online via (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking) or offline at any SBI branch.

The last date to apply for the GUJCET 2026 is December 30, 2025. GSHSEB will open the registration window for a 15-day period.

The GUJCET application form for the 2026 session will be released on its direct link - https://gujcet.gseb.org. Candidates abiding by the eligibility norms set by the authorities will be able to apply from the same link.

The official GUJCET Portal will activate the "New Candidate Registration" link tomorrow morning, December 16, 2025. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to fill the online application form from the portal.

The exam body GSHSEB has announced the GUJCET application dates 2026. As per the dates, the registrations for the GUJCET 2026 will start from December 16, 2025 and will end on December 30.
