How to do KCET 2025 Web-Option Entry at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in: Steps, Revised Dates, Fees, and Instructions
The Karnataka Examinations Authority has activated the KCET 2025 option entry link on July 8. The KCET counselling 2025 schedule was released on July 9, followed by the provisional seat matrix and the KCET 2025 fee structure list. Candidates who have completed their verification process are advised to complete the option entry process before the deadline. Read below for more.
The KCET 2025 option entry window is now activated on the official website. The KCET 2025 counselling process for the first round has started, and the KEA UGCET 2025 counselling dates have been announced. The last date to submit the KCET 2025 option entries is July 18. The KEA has revised the KCET 2025 counselling dates.

How to log in for the KCET 2025 option entry?
The step-by-step process to log in for the KCET option entry 2025 can be checked below -
- Visit the official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
- Click on the admissions tab and select UGCET
- Select the option entry link and click on log in
- Log in using Scan QR or CET application number (can be found in the verification slip)
- After logging in through QR or CET number, a new page will be displayed on the screen. Scan the QR code using your mobile phone.
- After successfully verifying the QR code, the website will redirect you to the Option Entry Login.
- Now, verify OTP (sent to your registered mobile number)
- Next, verify using face. Candidates have to capture a photo and submit it for complete verification.
- After the completion of the above process, candidates will be redirected to a new page for payment with an alert.
- All category candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of INR 750 before proceeding to the KCET option entry process.
- Once the payment is done, save and take a printout.
- After successful payment, the option entry link will be activated.
KCET 2025 Option Entry Process - Choice filling and submitting
The KCET 2025 option entry can be done only after the payment. Around 223 colleges are participating in the KCET UGCET round 1 counselling 2025 process. Make sure to remember the college code.
Before filling out the KCET 2025 web option entry, it is important to create a KCET 2025 priority list to add preferences easily. Candidates can check the detailed steps on how to fill the KCET choices for counselling.
- Once the payment is done, the option entry link will be activated on the portal.
- Click on it and accept the terms and conditions mentioned.
- Candidates can do option entry in two ways: course/college-wise. For now, option entry is available for engineering, DPharma and BPharma
- Select the discipline, college and courses
- For the availability of colleges and courses and their codes, select the tab available on the top right corner- (colleges and courses)
- After selecting, candidates can find complete codes of courses and colleges available for KCET counselling 2025.
- Candidates are advised to go through the codes carefully before choice filling.
- If you select a course in the option entry process, then a list of all colleges offering that particular course will be displayed on the screen, along with the fee structure.
- If you select the college option, a drop-down menu of colleges and candidates will show the list of all the courses offered in that particular college.
- Select your preferences and arrange them according to your priority by numbering them.
- Revise, recheck and save the options. Download and take the printout once done.
