The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially started the KCET 2025 option entry process for eligible candidates. Aspirants who have qualified the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 and verified their documents can now fill in their choices of courses and colleges through the KEA portal- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. KCET 2025 Option Entry Link Begins

KCET 2025 option entry started: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially started the KCET 2025 option entry process on its official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates who have qualified in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025, completed verification process and have downloaded the KCET 2025 verification slip, can now enter their preferences for colleges and courses as part of the KCET 2025 counselling process.

The KEA KCET 2025 web-option entry is a mandatory process for admission. In this stage, candidates can select courses (BTech) - engineering, pharma, agriculture, and architecture. On the basis of KCET ranks and college choices, students are offered seats in government and private institutions in Karnataka. As per the seat matrix, around 80000 agriculture and engineering seats are available in KCET 2025 first round option entry

Candidates can enter any number of options in the order of their preference. The choices submitted during this period will be considered for the KCET 2025 mock allotment and first round KCET seat allotment round.

How to Login or Access the KCET 2025 Option Entry Link?

Candidates can follow process below to access KCET option entry 2025 -

  • Visit the official website of KEA KCET
  • Click on UGCET tab and click on option entry
  • Enter application number or scan QR (which is available in the verification slip)
  • Select courses and college from the menu listed
  • Review and submit

What to Expect after KCET 2025 option entry

  • Candidates should log in using their CET number to access the option entry form

  • Multiple options can be filled and rearranged until the final lock-in date

  • KEA will release a mock allotment result to help students get an idea of likely seat allotments based on their preferences and rank

  • After reviewing the mock allotment, candidates can modify or rearrange their choices before the final locking

  • The KCET 2025 first round seat allotment result will be available on the official website 

Candidaes must analyse and check last five year's KCET cutoff, seat matrix, and institute profiles before submitting their choices. Once the choice is locked, candidates cannot make any changes until next round of counselling. Students can check KCET 2025 final seat matrix.
