KCET 2025 option entry started: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially started the KCET 2025 option entry process on its official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates who have qualified in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 and completed the document verification and have downloaded the KCET 2025 verification slip, can now enter their preferences for colleges and courses as part of the KCET 2025 counselling process.
The KEA KCET 2025 option entry window is an important step in the admission process, allowing candidates to choose from a wide range of undergraduate courses, including Engineering, BPharma, Agriculture, Architecture, and Veterinary Science, across government and private institutions in Karnataka. Around 80,000 engineering and agriculture seats are available for the KCET 2025 first round option entry.

Candidates can enter any number of options in the order of their preference. The choices submitted during this period will be considered for the KCET 2025 mock allotment and first round KCET seat allotment round.

No, Karnataka Examination Authority will not allow candidates to use calculators during the KCET 2025 exam. Applicants are also not allowed to carry any electronics devices like mobile phones, pagers and other items inside the exam centre. Applicants appearing in the exam can use their question paper for rough work. The authorities will allow candidates to do calculations and rough work in the question paper booklet. Any candidate carrying restricted items inside the KCET 2025 exam hall will be disqualified from the admission process.
