JEE Main 2016 Topper: Sai Teja Talluri from Hyderabad has topped JEE Main 2016, according to latest information. A student of Narayana Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy, Sai Teja Talluri has secured the highest marks of 345 out of 360 in the exam this year. JEE Main 2016 results were declared on the evening of April 27, 2016.

The next two spots have been bagged by students from the same coaching institute. Vignesh Reddy Konda bagged the second highest marks of 340 while two students — M. Prashanth Reddy and Sai Aditya secured the third highest marks (of 335).

Besides these candidates, three more students from Narayana Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy - Sai Praneeth Reddy, C. Laxminarayana and P. Sai Kiran Reddy secured fourth highest marks (330).

In 2016, as many as 12.07 lakh candidates registered for JEE Main exam across India. However, out of these only 1,54,032 candidates have been able to qualify for the JEE Advanced.

Out of the total eligible aspirants, 75,859 belong to the general category, and the remaining 78,173 candidates are from the reserved categories . The CBSE also released the cut-off marks to appear for JEE Advanced for different categories.
