IIIT Allahabad MTech Admission 2026: Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad has started admissions for its newly introduced two-year MTech programme in Quantum Information and Technologies. IIIT Allahabad MTech in QIT four-semester programme aims to prepare students for careers in quantum technology sector. Interested candidates can apply through the official CCMT portal at CCMT Admissions Portal.
Admissions to MTech QIT programme will be conducted through Centralized Counselling for MTech Admission. Selection will be based on GATE scores. Candidates who do not have GATE score may also be considered during Institute Spot Round if seats remain vacant. According to IIIT Allahabad, this course will combine classroom learning, practical training and research opportunities.
IIIT Allahabad MTech QIT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics and have four year BTech, BE, BS, BSc degree, MSc degree or an integrated BS MS qualification. Those with GATE scores in subjects including PH, DA, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, ME, MA, ST and XE can apply.

IIIT Allahabad has announced a total intake of 25 seats for this programme. GATE qualified candidates will be eligible for fellowships as per institute's norms. Students enrolled in programme will get opportunities for training, internships and projects with leading academic and research institutions, including C-DAC Pune, Harish-Chandra Research Institute (HRI) Prayagraj, IISER Pune, IIT Bombay, and other partner organisations.
