IIIT Trichy Admissions 2022: Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Tiruchirappally has commenced the admission application process for PhD Programme (Full Time/Part Time) 2022-23 July Session. IIIT Trichy offers PhD programme in various disciplines such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, English, Mathematics, and Physics.

Interested candidates may share their application at http://phdadmission.iiitt.ac.in/ latest by 11.59 pm on May 31, 2022. No applications will be accepted without application fee of INR 1000/- (INR 500/- for SC/ST/PH). The fee has to be paid online.

IIIT Trichy PhD Admissions 2022 Eligibility Criteria

For Engineering: Candidates applying for PhD programme at IIIT Trichy should have a Master’s degree in Engineering/ Technology or a Master’s degree by Research (MS By Research) in Engineering/ Technology disciplines with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks/CGPA 6.5 in UG or PG (55% aggregate /CGPA of 6.0 for SC/ST candidates).

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with valid GATE Score with a minimum of 90% aggregate marks/CGPA of 9.5 in UG (85% aggregate marks/CGPA of 9.0 UG for SC/ST candidates) are also eligible to apply. Those with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with 15 years of proven experience in reputed industries are also eligible.

For Science & Humanities (Mathematics/ Physics/ Economics / English): Candidate must have First class Bachelor or First-class Master degree in Sciences/Humanities in the relevant discipline with a minimum 60% aggregate (CGPA 6.5/10) in UG or in PG (55%/CGPA of 6.0 in UG / PG for SC/ST candidates).

IIIT Trichy PhD Admissions 2022 Selection Process

An interview and/or test will be conducted by the selection committees of the respective departments for shortlisted candidates.
