IITB Advanced Certificate in AI-Driven Supply Chain Analytics

IIT Bombay Certificate Program: IIT Bombay has announced the launch of a certificate course in Supply Chain Analytics with AI and ML Applications, offered by the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR). Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university and a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA are eligible to enroll. This six-month program, conducted in partnership with Great Learning, is set to commence in October 2025, with registrations now open.
The course is designed specifically for supply chain and operations professionals, consultants, as well as data and business intelligence experts working in logistics, procurement, inventory, or operations. It also caters to emerging leaders seeking a strong foundation in advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning within the supply chain domain. Learners will benefit from weekly live sessions by IIT Bombay faculty and gain an end-to-end understanding of supply chain analytics, enabling them to leverage AI and data analytics in planning and execution-related decisions.
Designed and delivered by IIT Bombay faculty, this course offers working professionals an industry-aligned curriculum in supply chain analytics enhanced with AI and ML applications. Comprising five integrated modules, learners will explore key topics such as data-driven supply chain analytics, demand forecasting and planning, inventory modeling, supply chain network design and optimization, as well as transportation and risk analysis. The program emphasises practical learning through case studies and scenario-based discussions, covering advanced inventory models, network design strategies, machine learning algorithms for demand forecasting, and the use of Generative AI for scenario planning.

The institute offers BS in three specialisations, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Admission to all the BS specialisations at IIT Bombay is entrance-based (JEE Main + JEE Advanced).
