IIT Bombay Exams 2026: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has postponed its mid-semester exams that were scheduled to be held on September 26 and 27, 2026. As per latest official communication issued by institute, IIT Bombay mid-sem exams will now be conducted on October 10 and 11.

IIT Bombay mid-semester exams were earlier scheduled for Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27. Following this revision, IIT Bombay mid sem exams will be held on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11.

IIT Bombay Mid-Sem Exam 2026 Revised Dates

As per media reports, institute has changed dates of mid-semester examinations while retaining existing timetable. This means that students will have to appear for same papers as per previously announced examination schedule, but on revised dates. The postponement comes amid developments on the IIT Bombay campus following death of a student. The incident had led to campus protests and the submission of an 18 point charter of demands by students. The institute has also initiated an internal review in connection with the developments.
