IIT Delhi, South Indian Bank invite applications for SIB Finathon

SIB Finathon has three hackathon challenges— gamification, virtual branch and hyper personalisation of the mobile app. The deadline to submit the applications is October 10.

SIB Finathon: Enactus- The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in association with South Indian Bank is inviting applications for its hackathon ‘SIB Finathon.’ IIT students, engineering scholars, technology enthusiasts and diverse professionals across the country interested in the hackathon must note that the registrations are now open.

SIB Finathon has three hackathon challenges— gamification, virtual branch and hyper personalisation of the mobile app. The deadline to submit the applications is October 10.

The hackathon will be conducted in two phases — an online screening and shortlisting round and a grand finale. The entries will be reviewed by a panel of experts and 15 teams with the most interesting and innovative ideas will be shortlisted to participate in the co-creation camp at IIT Delhi.

During the camp, participants will get the opportunity to showcase their ideas and solutions with guidance and mentorship from IIT Delhi faculty, South Indian Bank and experts from partners including Mindgate Solutions, OneCard and OSTTRA. The grand finale will be hosted at the IIT Delhi campus on November 4 and 5. The top three winners will receive a total cash prize of INR 6 lakh.

SIB Finathon will also host a conclave featuring speakers from BFSI and tech domains. The conclave will facilitate fireside chats, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
