IIT Gandhinagar MTech Application Form through GATE 2025 Released: Apply before 16

IIT Gandhinagar has started the GATE MTech admission process for the 2025-26 session. The IIT Gandhinagar GATE 2025 application form is available online and must be submitted by April 16, 2025. Candidates applying to multiple disciplines must submit a separate application form for each. In addition, the candidates must have their COAP registration number, except those who have completed a BTech from an IIT. 

IIT Gandhinagar GATE 2025 Admission Criteria

The eligibility for IIT Gandhinagar GATE 2025 admissions is -

• A minimum of 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA/CPI (of a 10-point scale) in BE/BTech or MSc or equivalent.
• For the reserved category, a relaxation of 5% is applicable in the minimum qualifying marks. 
• Candidates must have a valid GATE score to apply for IIT Gandhinagar MTech admission through GATE 2025. 
• BTech graduates from IITs must have a minimum CGPA or CPI of 8.0 or above. 

IIT Gandhinagar MTech through GATE 2025 Selection Process

Candidates applying to MTech programs through GATE must have a COAP registration number. The selection of the candidates will be based on the GATE score, academic performance, followed by an interview and a written test. 

To apply, candidates can visit https://admissions.iitgn.ac.in/ and fill out the necessary details. After submitting the application form, candidates will receive an application number with a link to download their form. 

In addition, candidates are advised to keep a hard copy of the application form and self-attested copies of all the relevant documents for the interview process. The GATE 2025 scorecard is now available for free download. Candidates can download it by using their enrollment ID and password. 

How to Register for COAP 2025?

GATE COAP 2025 registrations can be done in the following way - 

• Visit the official website of COAP and select the registration option
• For COAP registrations, candidates need to provide the following details: GATE registration number, GATE paper code, GATE score, Date of birth, and name.
• Click on submit and save the GATE COAP registration number for future purposes.

GATE 2025 IIT Gandhinagar MTech Application Fee

The application fee for the IIT Gandhinagar GATE 2025 admission form is INR 150 for SC/ST/PwD and INR 300 for others. 

IIT Gandhinagar MTech Admission through GATE 2025: Financial Assistance

Candidates admitted to full-time MTech programmes will be eligible for a monthly scholarship of INR 12,400. Financial assistance upto INR 60000 will be available for full-time students for presenting their research work at an international conference.
