IIT Madras extends GATE 2027 Application Rectification Window for Scrutiny Defects

As per the recent official update, IIT Madras has extended the last date for scrutiny of the GATE 2027 application form. The last date to receive approval of GATE 2027 application form from officials is now revised to November 3, 2026. Once the application defect process is completed, the authorities will announce the dates for form correction (with paid fees).

What must candidates do now?
Candidates must login to the GATE GOAPS portal to check their application status. Also, applicants who have received any defect rectification instructions must rectify and submit before deadline. The instructions with necessary guidelines are mentioned by the respective GATE zonal authorities. Candidates are advised to check their registered email ID for the notifications. With GATE 2027 application form defect rectification (scrutiny process) dates extended, candidates now get more time to rectify and submit their application form before the deadline.
