IIT Ropar PhD Admission for January 2025

IIT Ropar Admission 2024-25: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar has released the application form for its PhD programs for the January 2025 session, under the academic year 2024-25. Candidates interested in pursuing advanced doctoral research can submit their IIT Ropar PhD applications at the official website by September 23, 2024. They must note they need to fill out separate IIT Ropar PhD applications for each department.

Shortlisted candidates for the written test or interview will be notified via email. They need to bring a printed copy of their IIT Ropar PhD application along with original and photocopies of supporting documents. The IIT Ropar PhD program offers fellowships of up to INR 2 lakh and also offers the opportunity to participate in national and international conferences.

Who are eligible for IIT Ropar PhD Admission?

Candidates with a degree in one of the following: MTech/ME/MD/MSc/MBA/MA/MBBS/BTech/BE or an equivalent qualification are eligible. Also, BTech and BE candidates who have a valid score in GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET/DST-INSPIRE/JEST/NBHM, or any other national fellowship can apply for IIT Ropar PhD admission.

Step 1: Visit the official IIT Ropar website: iitrpr.ac.in/admissions

Step 2: Click on PhD Admission

Step 3: Select "Create new account"

Step 4: Enter username and email address and verify the email using the link provided in the verification mail

Step 5: Complete all sections of the application form and click "Final Submission"
