JEE Advanced 2025 Application Form Releasing Tomorrow for Foreign and OCI/PIO (F) Candidates

IIT Kanpur will open the JEE Advanced 2025 registration window for foreign national candidates and OCI/PIO (F) candidates tomorrow, April 7. On the other hand, the JEE Advanced application form 2025 will be released on April 23. The registration window will remain open for candidates of all nationalities till May 2, and the application fee can be paid till May 5.

Note that this year, the JEE Advanced application fee has been increased for exam centres outside India. Specifically, candidates selecting Abu Dhabi or Kathmandu as their exam centres will need to pay USD 150, while those from non-SAARC countries will be charged USD 250—an increase of USD 50 compared to last year. However, the application fee for exam centres within India remains unchanged.

The JEE Advanced 2025 exam is scheduled for May 18 for all candidates. JEE Advanced 2025 Paper 1 will occur from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. To be eligible for admission to the IITs, candidates must attempt both papers. Registered candidates can download their JEE Advanced 2025 admit card between May 11 and May 18.

NTA will announce the JEE Main 2025 April session result by April 17, and the candidates who will qualify the JEE Main 2025 cutoff for JEE Advanced will be able to register for JEE Advanced 2025. Top 2.5 lakh candidates of JEE Mains will be eligible for JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO Candidates

Age: Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2000. In countries where a minimum stint in the armed forces (or allied) for a certain period is mandatory before/after Class XII (or equivalent) examination, the candidate will be given a relaxation of the required number of years. In such cases, the candidate is required to upload a certificate/testimonial issued by the competent authority to this effect at the time of registration.

Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.

Appearance in class 12 exam: A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Earlier admission to the IITs: A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT under any academic program that is listed in JoSAA Business Rules of 2024, irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past. Candidates whose admission to IITs was cancelled (for whatever reason) after joining any IIT are also NOT eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2025.
