JEE Main 2014: Counseling begins July 1

JEE Main 2014 results were declared on May 3 and the counseling process for the same is likely to commence on July 1, 2014 as per the official website of CSAB(Central Seat Allocation Board).

CSAB is the body governing the counseling, admission and seat allocation process for JEE Main. This year, the board will have Dr.Inder Krishnen Bhatt, Director, Malviya National Institute of Technology(MNIT) as the Chairman, while, the directors of all the remaining 29 NITs, 4 IIITs and other CTFIs will be its members.

Introducing a few changes in the counseling process, CSAB has notified that this year, there would be four rounds of seat allotment instead of the three rounds held last year which will be then followed by a spot admission round.

After online initial fee payment, candidate's personal reporting at any one of the reporting centers (RC) as per his/her convenience against the second round seat of allotment

July 16 – 19, 2014

 

Third round of seat allotment 

July 21, 2014

 

After online initial fee payment, candidate personal reporting at any one of the reporting centers (RC) as per his/her convenience against the third round of seat allotment

July 21 –23, 2014

 

Surrendering of seat at the same reporting centre, by the candidates of seat allotted in round 1, 2 and 3 who are not satisfied with their allotment and do not wish to get admitted to the allotted institute, but still wish to remain in consideration for further rounds of allotment 

July 21 –23, 2014

In person reporting at allotted institute by the candidates of all the three rounds who are satisfied with the allotted seat or institute.

July 21 - 24, 2014

 

Modification of choices for 4th round, by the candidates who have not got any seat allotment so far and those candidates who got their old choices unlocked by surrendering their previous allotment. eligible candidates who did not register till date get fresh chance of registration

July 21 - 24, 2014

 

Fourth round of seat allotment

Hey frd those who qualified in jee mains will be definitely eligible for all rounds including spot round.Also depending upon ur score u will definitely qualify jee mains
