JEE Main 2016 Expected Cut-off Released

The expected cut-off for JEE Main 2016 have been released soon by various coaching institutes. However, the final and official cut-off by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) will be out only by the end of April, 2016, before JEE Advanced 2016 begins. According to Shailendra Maheshwari from Career Point, Kota, the JEE Main cut off in 2016 is expected to be lower if the length and difficulty level of the exam is considered. He shared, " I think, the cut of JEE Main 2016 will be somewhere around 95 marks. However, let's wait for the official cut-offs".

Experts from FIITJEE too believe that the JEE Main cutoffs for this year will be lower than the last year. Ramesh Batlish, Center Head, FIITJEE said," The cut-offs for CML(Common Merit List) in 2013, 2014 and 2015 were 113, 105, 115 respectively. This year, JEE Main cut-offs are expected to be near 115".

JEE Main 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on April 3, 9 & 10, 2016 across different locations in India. Today, the exam will be conducted in two parts i.e. Paper I and Paper II. While the Paper I will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Paper II (B. Arch) is scheduled from 2 PM to 5 PM. Catch live updates on JEE Main 2016 here!
