JEE Main 2024 session 1 exam will begin tomorrow on January 27, 2024 for paper 1 BTech/BE. Before appearing for the JEE Mains 2024 session 1 BTech exam, candidates must download their admit card, check reporting time and important exam day guidelines here.

JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the JEE Main session 1 examination from January 27, 2024, onwards. As per the announced date, the JEE Main 2024 entrance exam will be conducted on January 27, 29, 30, 31 and February 1. Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2024 paper 1 exam must download the admit card in order to get entry at the centre. Apart from that they must keep in mind the important guidelines and advisory of JEE Main released by NTA. 

JEE Main 2024 Reporting Time 

As per the schedule, the paper 1 JEE Mains 2024 BTech/BE exam will be conducted in two shifts on January 27, 29, 30, 31 and February 1, 2024. First shift timing is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and shift 2 is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

JEE Mains 2024 Exam Day Guidelines 

  • The candidates were advised to register through Digi Locker/ABC ID. Those candidates who did not register through the Digi Locker / ABC ID (or chose authentication through non-Aadhaar options), need to report early on the day of the examination (at least 1 hour earlier) to get their Biometrics recorded at the exam centre
  • Candidates must note that they are subjected to frisking and biometric attendance even following restroom breaks
  • Candidates must react the exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of JEE Main exam 
  • Candidates will not be allowed entry into the JEE Main 2024 exam centre after gate closing time
  • They must make sure to carry a printout of their JEE Main hall ticket a valid photo ID proof and passport-size photographs
  • They are not allowed to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, slide rules, log tables, printed or written material, bits of paper, pager, or any other device
  • Blank paper sheets for rough work of A4 size will be provided. Candidates must write their name and roll number at the top of each of the sheets
