JEE Main 2024 Image Correction Window Opens, Make Changes at jeemain.nta.ac.in

JEE Main 2024: NTA has activated the image correction window for the JEE Main exam 2024 session 1. Applicants who have submitted the IIT JEE application form can make corrections in the image at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Check last date to make changes in image here 

JEE main 2024 Image Correction Window Opens

JEE Main 2024 Session 1: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the image correction window of JEE Main 2024 session 1 today. Candidates who have registered and want to make corrections in their image can do so by logging in with their JEE Main 2024 application number and password at the jeemain.nta.ac.in. The last date to make changes in JEE Main application 2024 image is January 6. 

The window to make corrections in the image has been actiavted after NTA noticed that the photograph uploaded by the applicants are not as per the required specifications. In the official notice it has been stated that, “It has been decided to give an opportunity to candidates to upload the Photograph as per required specifications to avoid rejection of application by opening the window to change their actual recent photograph on their respective online application forms as per schedule.” 

JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Image Specification

As per the notice released, the image in JEE Main application form uploaded must follow the below-mentioned specified criteria: 

• It must be a passport size photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb)
• The recent photograph should be either in colour or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background
• Spectacles are allowed only if being used regularly
• Polaroid and computer-generated photos are not acceptable

NTA also added, the photographs need not be attested. Candidates are advised to keep six to eight passport size colour photographs with white a background. They may note that if the photographs uploaded are found to be fabricated i.e. deshaped or seem to be hand-made or computer made, the application of the candidate will be rejected. The same will be considered as using unfair means and thwy would be dealt with accordingly.

How to make correction in the image for JEE Main 2024 session 1? 

To make the necessary changes, candidates must follow the steps provided below: 

Step 1: Go to the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link - Image Correction JEE Main 2024

Step 3: A new login window will appear on the screen 

Step 4 Log in with application number, password, security pin

Step 5: Replace with a new image and submit it

Step 6: Also, take a print out of the confirmation page for future references
