JEE Main 2026 Admit Card LIVE: Session 2 Exam From April 2, City Intimation Slip Download Link @ jeemain.nta.nic.in

Some reports have claimed that the dates have been revised. Note that the exam dates have not been revised. As earlier informed by NTA, the session 2 exams will be held between April 2 and 9. The exact dates are - April 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8 for paper 1 and April 7 for paper 2a & 2b exams. The official exam date and city slip notice is available at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Candidates need to carry following items to the exam centre.

1. Session 2 admit card along with filled in Self Declaration
2. One passport-size photo
3. Any one photo ID proof among – valid School Identity Card/ PAN card / Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (with photograph)/ e-Aadhaar with photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.
4. Medical certificate (for PwD/PwBD candidates to avail scribe service)
5. A simple transparent Ball Point Pen

JEE Main session 2 exam date 2026 for paper 2a and 2b is April 7.

The JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam for paper candidates will be held on April 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8.

Candidates can check their JEE Main 2026 exam date on the city intimation slip. The city slip has been issued to the candidates on March 21. To check the JEE Mains exam date, candidates have to login with their application number and password, download the city slip and check the allotted exam date and city mentioned on it.

Candidates can check these details in NTA JEE Mains session 2 admit card:

• Roll number

• Application number

• Candidate's name

• Father's name

• Gender

• Date of birth

• State of eligibility

• PwD status

• Scribe requirement

• Candidate photo and sign

• Name of the Paper applied for (BE/BTech, BArch, BPlan)

• JEE Mains 2026 exam date
• Shift of the exam

• Reporting time

• Gate closing time

• State and city of the test centre
• Test centre name and address

• Self declaration

To check the JEE Main 2026 exam centre, candidates have to wait for the admit card to be released.

The details of the session 2 exam centre name and address will be mentioned on the NTA JEE hall ticket.

The JEE Mains 2026 City Slip serves to inform candidates of the location for travel planning. The Admit Card is the "entry ticket" to the exam hall.

Also, the City Slip provides the city and exam date. The Admit Card contains the exact exam centre address, shift timings, roll number, and personal details.

Additionally, the JEE Mains city slip cannot be used for entry to the exam hall. The Admit Card is a mandatory document for identification.

Candidates are advised to download the city slip and check the allotted exam date and city, and plan their exam day travel accordingly. If the allotted city is far, then ensure advanced booking to travel and accomodation.

Candidates can download their JEE Main 2026 admit card from the official website only - jeemain.nta.nic.in. The admit card will not be sent to the candidates via email or any other means.

The JEE Main 2026 session 2 admit card will be released on the official website soon. As per the previous year trends, the expected release date of the JEE Main session 2 admit card 2026 is:

• Admit cards for exams on April 2, 4, and 5 are expected to be out on March 28.
• Admit cards for the remaining exam dates (April 6, 7, and 8) are expected to be released on April 2.

NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam date.

Paper 1 will be held on April 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8.

Paper 2a & 2b will be held on April 7.
