JEE Main 2026: National Testing Agency will conduct Joint Entrance Examination Main session 1 exam for paper 1 (BE/ BTech) and paper 2A and 2B (BArch and BPlanning papers) from January 21. With over 14.5 lakh candidates registered, JEE Main exam date and city intimation slips will be released in first week of January 2026. Registered candidates can get JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip link online at official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.Β
To download JEE Main city allotment 2026 slip and exam date, they need to use their login credentials application number and password or date of birth. JEE Main city allotment slip will allow candidates to plan travel for allotted cities in advance.

NTA to Allot Exam Centre via JEE Main Admit Card 2026
During filling application form, candidates were able to select up to maximum of four cities of their choice within the states provided in their present and permanent address. All efforts will be made to allot city of exam to the candidates in order of choice opted by them in their application form, NTA said. However, due to administrative or logistic reasons, a different city can also be allotted.βIn cases, there are very few candidates from a City, the NTA reserves the right to merge one, two or more cities. The decision of the NTA regarding the allotment of the City/Centre shall be final. No further correspondence or request shall be entertained in such a case.β notice stated.
