JEE Main 2026 Form Correction Starts December 1; Know How To Edit Details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the JEE Main 2026 form correction for session 1 on December 1, 2025. Candidates who wish to make changes to their details in the filled application form can do so by logging into the candidate portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The correction window for JEE Main 2026 session 1 will remain active until December 2, 2025 (11:50 PM). Applicants must note that the form correction is a one-time use facility to correct a few details only. The form correction is crucial as any mistake in the form can lead to the rejection of the candidature. The authority will issue the JEE Main 2026 admit card to successfully registered students only.

The authority conducted the JEE Main 2026 session 1 registration from October 31 to November 27. There was no extension to the registration period, and any student who missed applying for JEE Mains 2026 now has to wait for the session 2 application forms. The JEE Main 2026 registration has set a new record with 14.5 lakh (approx.) registrations.

How to make Corrections to the JEE Mains Application Form?

  • Visit the JEE Mains website, jeemain.nta.nic.in  
  • Log in using your application number and password
  • Click on “Modify details” / “Correction in Application Form” link  
  • Make necessary changes in the fields  
  • Review all the changes and submit the form.
  • Download and print a copy of the corrected form for your reference.

Note: Candidates have to pay additional charges for category change, adding papers, and change of exam city abroad.
