The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced new verification rules for the JEE Main 2026 registration process. It is now mandatory for candidates to verify their identity through Aadhaar or DigiLocker. This move will help in verifying the candidate’s details and reducing application errors.

However, this feature is not accessible in the JEE Mains registration as of now. The only two documents that the system is accepting include Aadhar and Digilocker.
