JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Toughest Shift: April 6 Shift 1 Most Difficult of All
JEE Main 2026 April 6 shift 1 paper has been reported the most difficult of all by majority of the students who appared in the exam today. JEE Main April 4 shift 1 paper was also considerably difficult. Check subject-wise difficulty level of JEE Main today paper.
The NTA is conducting JEE Mains 2026 session 2 in 500+ cities of India and abroad. The April 6 shift 1 paper has just concluded with students reaction coming up on overall shift difficulty level, topics covered and section-wise difficulty level. Shiksha interacted with a few of the students who appeared in JEE Main today paper shift 1 to know their views on the exam.
Most of the students who took the test today confirmed that Physics was calculative in nature, Chemistry was moderate while Maths was lengthy. By analyzing the subject-wise and overall difficulty level of JEE Mains paper held on April 2, 4, 5 and today exam across all shifts, JEE Main April 6 Shift 1 is the toughest of all in session 2.

Topics asked in Physics: Electric Field, Ray Optics, Refraction, Error, Rotation, Elasticity, SHM, Current Electricity, Heat
Topics asked in Maths: Vectors and 3d, Conic Sections, Matrix, Integration, Quadratic Equation
Topics asked in chemistry: Physical questions dominated, which were very calculative. Topics came from Chemical Kinetics, Chain Reactions, Boiling Point, Molar Mass
