JEE Mains 2026 April 8 Exam LIVE: NTA will hold the final shift of JEE Mains session 2 exam today for BE/BTech candidates, TODAY, April 8. There is no exam in shift 1. The exam today will be held in one shift only from 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates should report to the exam hall before the gate closing time as mentioned on the admit card. Also, bring the printed JEE Mains admit card with a valid ID proof to the exam hall.

JEE Main 2026 April 8 Exam Day Guidelines - What to Carry and What to Avoid
At the JEE Mains exam hall, candidates should bring the following items:
- Admit Card: A clear, printed copy of JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card on A4-sized paper.
- Duly Filled Self-Declaration Form: This is usually part of the admit card and must be completed, including your left-hand thumb impression and photograph, before reaching the centre.
- Valid Photo ID (Original): A government-issued original ID, same as the one uploaded during registration.
- Passport-Size Photograph: At least two additional photographs (identical to the one uploaded in your application form) to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
- Transparent Ballpoint Pen: While some centres provide them, it is safer to carry your own completely transparent pen (blue or black ink).
- Personal Transparent Water Bottle: Must be clear and free of any labels or markings.
- PwD Certificate: Mandatory for candidates claiming relaxation under the PwD/PwBD category.

NTA JEE Mains 2026 Answer Key & Response Sheets Release Date
The JEE Mains answer key is expected to be officially released by NTA on or before April 10, based on past timelines. With the JEE Mains answer keys, the response sheets carrying the answers marked by the students will be available.
