JEE Main 2027 Exam Cities Reduced to 310; 13 Cities Removed, 3 Added This Year

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reduced the number of exam cities for JEE Main 2027. The total number of exam city entries has decreased from 323 in 2026 to 310 in 2027. The revised list includes 301 cities in India and 9 cities outside India.

NTA has released the JEE Mains application form 2027 for session 1 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be required to enter four examination city choices in order of preference while filling the form. NTA will allot the exam centre in one of the four cities that the candidates fill in the online form. JEE Mains registration for session 1 is open till November 22 without any late fee. This year, NTA will allow candidates to apply with a late fee of an additional INR 500 between November 23 and 26.

JEE Main 2027 Cities Removed from the List

The following cities have been removed from the JEE Main 2027 exam city list.

Cities removed in India:

• Andhra Pradesh: Adoni and Tadpatri
• Haryana: Hissar
• Karnataka: Ballari and Chikaballapur
• Madhya Pradesh: Khandwa
• Odisha: Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapara
• Telangana: Suryapet
• West Bengal: Asansol

Cities removed outside India:

• Singapore
• Kuala Lumpur
• Lagos
• West Java
• Washington DC
• Munich

JEE Main 2027 New Exam Cities Added

NTA has added three new cities to the JEE Main 2027 exam city list. These are:

• Kalahandi, Odisha
• Sundergarh, Odisha
• Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab

Sundergarh has also taken over the city code OR14, which was earlier assigned to Kendrapara.
