JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Releasing on THIS Date: What to Do If Photo, Name or Centre Details Are Wrong

JEE Main 2026 admit card will be released 3 to 4 days before their scheduled exam dates. This time, Session 1 exams will be conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28 for Paper 1 and January 29, 2026 for Paper 2. Check what to do if details mentioned on JEE Main hall ticket is wrong. 

JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Releasing on THIS Date

JEE Main Admit Card 2026: National Testing Agency will be releasing JEE Main admit card for session 1 exam on January 17 or 18, 2026. As per notice issued earlier, NTA usually release JEE Mains hall ticket 3 to 4 days before exam dates. As per schedule, session 1 exam will be held on January 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 and 29, 2026 for paper 1 and 2, respectively.

Registered candidates can get JEE Main 2026 admit card link online at official website jeemain.nic.in. To download JEE Main 2026 session 1 admit card, they have to use their login details application number and password/date of birth. They must go through information mentioned on JEE Main admit card after downloading it. In case of any error in photo, name or centre details, they must contact officials for rectification. 

On day of exam, candidates must carry printed copy of JEE Main admit card 2026 with valid government ID proof to centre. Without NTA JEE Main admit card, no candidate will be allowed inside exam centre.

Expected JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Release Date 

Although official JEE Main admit card release date for Session 1 (January 2026) has not yet been announced by National Testing Agency. However, based on previous years’ patterns and the current exam schedule, it is likely that JEE Main hall tickets will be released by January 17 or 18, 2026. 

What to do if Photo, Name or Centre details are wrong in JEE Main 2026 Admit Card? 

In case of any discrepancy in details of candidate or photograph shown in JEE Mains admit card 2026, then they should immediately call on helpline number from 10 AM to 5 PM. Also, NTA has asked candidates to get their photo verification certificate signed by School/College Principal/Headmaster till January 15, 2026. 

JEE Main photo verification certificate has to be uploaded by those candidates who have received an email from NTA. This certificate has to be also carried to JEE Main centre on day of the exam in printed format for verification. To download this certificate, candidates have to login at jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and password.

Error in Name or Other Detail 

If name, date of birth, or centre details are incorrect on JEE Main session 1 hall ticket, candidates need to contact NTA helpdesk immediately or use official support contact listed on JEE Main website. In many cases, mistakes can be clarified or corrected before the exam if reported early.

How to Check JEE Main 2026 Exam Date, City & Shift? 

Candidates can check their exam date and city in JEE Main intimation slip that has been released. JEE Main city slip informs about allotted exam city and date. This helps candidates make travel arrangements beforehand. However, details about JEE Main session 1 shift will be mentioned on admit card. 

As per schedule available, JEE Main 2026 shift 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and shift 2 from 3 to 6 pm. Exact timings will be mentioned on hall tickets only. Once JEE Main 2026 admit card is out, it will show:

• Exact exam centre address
• Date
• Shift timing (morning or afternoon session)
