JNTUH invites applications for MTech courses under sponsored category seats
Candidates can directly appear for counselling under sponsored category seats for admission to MTech regular programmes for the academic year 2021-22.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to regular MTech courses under sponsored category seats for the 2021-22 academic year.
An official notice read, βEligible candidates can directly appear for counselling under sponsored category seats for admission to MTech regular programmes for the academic year 2021-22. For details of seats in each specialisation, eligibility criteria, application format, counselling schedule and course fee, etc, visit JNTUH website www.jntuh.ac.in. These candidates are not eligible for hostel admission and scholarship. Sliding will not be permitted for already admitted candidates through TS PGECET-2021.β
Eligibility criteria for sponsored category seats in MTech
For sponsored category seats, the admission is only for working candidates who put up two years of service, after qualifying examination, by July 31, 2021, and working in industry, organisations, education, institutions or research units and sponsored by respective employers.
The notice read, βIf sufficient candidates are not turned up, the service may be relaxed by one year. Sponsorship is essential for sponsored category seats. Candidates must submit service certificate and sponsorship letter, format is given in application form, with name of the issuing authority, mail ID and mobile number.β
Candidates need to produce all original certificates at the time of counselling. They need to bring along following documents during counselling.
- Valid GATE Score card
- TS PGECET-2021 Hall Ticket and Rank Card
- Degree Certificate
- Degree marks memo (CMM)
- Memorandum of marks of SSC or equivalent
- Transfer Certificate
- Integrated community certificate (caste certificate) in case of BC/SC/ST candidates
- Latest sponsorshipCcertificateand no objection certificate from the employer in prescribed proforma/format for sponsored category seat.
- Study certificates from Class 10 till graduation
- Residence Certificates for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination i.e. graduation in respect of candidates who have private study without any institutionalized education.
- Residence certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in TS/AP excluding the period of their employment outside TS/AP from MRO in case of candidates studied outside TS and AP
- Two recent passport size photographs
