JNTUH to hold 2nd, 3rd, 4th semester exams for UG students from March 29
The registration service for computer-based test will be available from tomorrow (March 11, 2022) and students are required to submit fee by March 25, 2022.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) has issued a circular regarding the conduct of computer-based test (CBT) for fourth-year first semester, third-year first semester and second-year first semester BTech/BPharm regular students, who were absent during mid-term exams conducted at the college, in March 2022.
It further notified that CBT shall also be conducted for the students who are transferred from other universities/autonomous colleges under JNTUH and for the internal marks component of substitute subjects. The CBT for fourth-year first semester, third-year first semester and second-year first semester will begin on March 29, 2022. The CBT exam registration service will be available from tomorrow (March 11, 2022) and students are required to submit fee by March 25, 2022.

The university said, “The CBT is intended to benefit those students who were absent during mid-term exams conducted at the college. Further, it shall also be conducted for other universities/autonomous colleges under JNTUH and for the internal marks component of substitute subjects." The CBT will contain 25 objective questions from the entire syllabus of the subject and all are to be answered through online mode in 45 minutes duration.
Each question carries one mark. The students who have been transferred from other universities/institutions to JNTUH affiliated colleges who are on the rolls are provided one chance to write the CBT (internal exam) in the failed subject and/ or subjects not studied as per the clearance letter issued by the university. The test will be conducted in limited number of centres based on the number of registrations and details will be uploaded on the exam portal.
