Joint seat allocation for IITs, NITs, IIITs & GFTIs to commence on June 25
According to latest information, the joint counselling for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs for academic year 2015-16 is all set to commence on June 25.

In a latest release on the official website of JEE Advanced 2015, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) 2015 have declared the time schedule for the same.
An official release read," Seat allocation for academic programs offered by 88 Institutes will be done jointly through this Authority for the academic year 2015-16". IIT Bombay is the conducting body for JEE Advanced 2015.
As per the website, the joint seat allocation will begin through a common web portal from 25 June, 2015. July 1 is when the first round of seat allocation will begin. However, the second and the third round seat allocation will begin from July 7 and July 12 respectively.
The joint counselling process will see participation from the 20 IITs(Indian Institutes of Technology), ISM Dhanbad, 31 NITs (National Institutes of Technology), 16 IIITs and 18 other Government Funded Institutions.
