JoSAA 2026 Round 2 Allotment Released; Here's How to Check Allotted Seat
The round 2 allotment result of JoSAA counselling 2026 has been released. Candidates can login on the official website to check their allotted institute and branch.
The allotment result of JoSAA 2026 round 2 counselling is out at josaa.nic.in. Candidates who opted for float or slide can also check their new allotment. Also, candidates who were not allotted any seats in round 1 must also login to check their allotment. Students who do not get any allotment in this round will automatically proceed to the JoSAA round 3.
Students who have been allotted a seat in this round have to pay SAF and complete the online reporting process - seat confirmation, document upload & verification.

How to Check JoSAA Round 2 Allotment 2026?
Check the steps below to check the JoSAA round 2 allotment:
- Visit the official JoSAA website and follow the seat allotment link.
- Now the JoSA login will open. Here, enter the JEE Main application number and password.
- Once the login is successful, candidates can check the seat allotment result.
- Check the allotted college and course and save the page for reference.

Once a seat is allotted, candidates should choose Freeze/Float/Slide.
Freeze means the seat is accepted, and candidates do not wish any change or upgrade. Float means candidates accept the current seat, but they want to check for higher preferences across all colleges. While slide also means accepting the current seat, but seeking a branch upgrade within that exact college.
Round 2 JoSAA 2026 Counselling Dates
Online reporting that includes seat confirmation (freeze/float/slide), fee payment, document upload, and response by the candidate to queries will be held from June 30 to July 3. Any fee payment issues have to be resolved by July 4, and the final deadline to respond to any query by the document verification officers is July 5.
The round cutoff in the form of opening and closing ranks will also be published at josaa.nic.in.
