The exam body of KCET, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the KCET 2026 application correction window today. Candidates who have already submitted the application form or those who are planning to apply till the last date, February 27, 2026 can make edits to their already submitted application form until March 30, 2026. The last date to fill the KCET application form is Feb 27, 2026, this remains unchanged.

Along with this update the exam body has also addressed a critical issue regarding SC/ST caste certificates. KEA observed that many Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates are entering RD numbers from older certificates that do not include newly implemented internal reservation details.

Karnataka Examination Authority will commence the KCET application form facility after the conclusion of the exam at the official website. Applicants can make changes in the KCET application form in online mode. Candidates are allowed to make changes in certain fields only. Applicants are advised to cross-check all the details before submitting information. KEA do not entertain any request for change in KCET application form after the conclusion of correction facility.

The last date to apply was February 27, 2026. Candidates could fill out the KCET application form at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

As per the official notification, candidates must obtain an Updated Certificate to secure a fresh caste certificate from jurisdictional Tahsildar that explicitly mentions internal reservation categories (A, B, or C). They must use the KEA Candidate Portal to update applications with the new RD number till the March 30 deadline. Only those students with valid RD numbers reflecting these internal categories will be considered for seat allotment under respective reserved categories.
