Along with this update the exam body has also addressed a critical issue regarding SC/ST caste certificates. KEA observed that many Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates are entering RD numbers from older certificates that do not include newly implemented internal reservation details.

As per the official notification, candidates must obtain an Updated Certificate to secure a fresh caste certificate from jurisdictional Tahsildar that explicitly mentions internal reservation categories (A, B, or C). They must use the KEA Candidate Portal to update applications with the new RD number till the March 30 deadline. Only those students with valid RD numbers reflecting these internal categories will be considered for seat allotment under respective reserved categories.
