The exam body, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the KCET 2026 exam date. As per the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 dates, the Kcet 2026 registration will start from January 17, 2026 onwards. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to apply from KEA Official Website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ till the last date. 

To successfully complete the Kcet 2026 registration, candidates will have to fill the application form in detail by mentioning their details, paying the Kcet 2026 registration fees and uploading the documents as per the prescribed format. KCET Registration: Documents Required to Apply

Before filling the KCET 2026 application form online, students must must keep scanned copies of following documents ready:

  • SSLC/10th and 12th/2nd PUC marks cards.
  • Government-issued ID proof (e.g., Aadhaar Card).
  • Recent passport-size color photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression (all in JPG/JPEG format, max 50 KB).
  • Valid Caste, Income, or Domicile certificates for those seeking reservation benefits.
  • Information regarding studies in Karnataka for at least seven years.
  • To pay the KCET 2026 Application Fees students must keep their debit/credit card handy, as it will be used to pay fees online.

  • Visit KEA portal and click "UGCET-2026 Online Application" 
  • create User ID and password and Log in
  • Enter personal, educational, and contact details.
  • Upload scanned documents as per the prescribed format
  • Pay application fee via online or offline (bank challan) modes.

The KCET exam is an annual entrance exam which is conducted to shortlist candidates for B.E/B.Tech courses across participating colleges in the state of Karnataka.
