KEAM 2026: CEE Allows Change in Gulf Exam Centres Due to War Situation; Admit Card on April 8

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has allowed candidates to change their KEAM 2026 exam centres in Gulf countries due to the current war situation in the Middle East. Many students who had selected the UAE (Sharjah) as their exam centre are facing travel difficulties. Because of this, CEE has introduced a one-time option to change centres. The KEAM 2026 admit card, which was earlier expected on April 1, has now been delayed. It will be released on April 8 due to the ongoing centre change process.

Why is the Centre Change Option given

As per the official notice, candidates are facing issues travelling to their selected centres in the Middle East. To help students, exam centres are now arranged in:

  • UAE (Sharjah)
  • Kuwait
  • Bahrain

Candidates can change their exam centre through the KEAM 2026 portal.

Who Can Change Their Exam Centre

CEE has clearly listed the eligible candidates:

  • Option for Kerala Centres: Students who selected UAE earlier can now switch to any centre in Kerala if they are currently in Kerala and unable to travel.
  • Option for Gulf Centres: Students who selected Kerala but are currently in Gulf countries can choose a Gulf-based centre.
  • Switch to Kuwait: Candidates who selected UAE can change their centre to Kuwait.
  • Switch to Bahrain: Candidates who selected UAE can also choose Bahrain as their new centre.

Important Dates for KEAM 2026 Centre Change and Admit Card

  • Centre change window: April 4 to April 7 (till 1 PM)
  • Admit card release date: April 8

Candidates must complete the centre change within the given time. CEE has clearly said that the last date will not be extended.

How to Change KEAM 2026 Exam Centre

  • Candidates need to visit the official KEAM 2026 portal  - cee.kerala.gov.in
  • Log in using the application number and password.
  • Click on the “Change Centre” option.
