KEAM 2026: CEE Releases List of Candidates With Defects in Documents; Correction Open till May 25
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has released a list of applicants who still have defects in their reservation-related documents. Such candidates are being given a correction facility to correct these errors. Check the complete report below.
CEE Kerala has opened the correction facility for candidates with defects in their reservation-related documents till May 25, till 6 PM. To rectify these defects, candidates must log on to the 'KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal' at cee.kerala.gov.in, using their application number and password. On their profile page, students can view defect details under the 'Memo Details' menu.
CEE has notified that no later opportunity will be given to rectify the defects. For those students who fail to rectify the defects in their Nativity documents within the stipulated time, their communal and special reservation benefits will be cancelled.
KEAM 2026 Plus Two Marks Entry Link
In a few days, CEE will start the plus two marks entry facility for all candidates who have qualified for the KEAM 2026 entrance exam. The ranks list for engineering courses will be drawn based on KEAM and plus two marks. To prepare the rank list, a 50:50 weightage will be given to both scores.
Those candidates who fail to submit their class 12 marks will not be included in the KEAM 2026 rank list and will not be considered for the KEAM counselling process.

The facility to submit class 12 marks for KEAM rank list preparation started on June 3.
There is no paper 1 or paper 2 in KEAM anymore. As per the revised KEAM exam pattern, KEAM will not have two papers anymore. There will be one paper. The KEAM 2026 engineering candidates have to attempt a total of 150 questions. Mathematics will have 75 questions, Physics will have 45 questions, and Chemistry will have 30 questions to be answered in 180 minutes. For KEAM 2026 BPharm ONLY candidates, the Entrance Examination will have a total of 75 questions; 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry to be answered in 90 minutes. For each correct response, candidates will be awarded FOUR marks, and for each incorrect response, ONE mark will be deducted.
The KEAM exam has moved on to the online CBT mode from 2024 onwards. The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations has received approval from the government of Kerala to conduct KEAM in CBT mode. KEAM exam pattern has been changed, and KEAM 2026 will be held in computer-based test mode, and there will be one paper.
KEAM counselling - centralised admission process (CAP) is conducted in various rounds. KEAM 2026 counselling dates will be notified via a separate notification after the plus two marks submission window ends. KEAM CAP 2026 process includes KEAM option registration, rearrangement of options if needed, printing the final option list, provisional allotment, final KEAM seat allotment result publication, payment of option confirmation fee and final admission by reporting to the allotted college. It is expected that KEAM 2026 CAP will have 3 rounds and 1 mop-up round.
CEE conducted the KEAM 2026 exam in CBT mode from April 17 to 22, and the KEAM scores were published on May 12.
