KEAM 2026 April 17 Exam LIVE: The Commissioner of Entrance Exams will hold the first day of the KEAM 2026 exam today, April 17. Students are required to report to the examination centre with the KEAM 2026 admit card at the time mentioned on it. Also, students appearing for the examination today must bring a photo ID (any one of the following: Aadhaar card/Voter ID/Driving license/PAN card, passport, etc.) to the exam centre.
The KEAM 2026 April 17 exam will be held for 3 hours duration and will have 150 multiple-choice (MCQ) questions. The exam will start at 2 pm and end at 5 pm. KEAM 2026 April 17 Exam Day Guidelines and Dress Code
Check below the KEAM exam day guidelines that CEE has mandated for all students to follow on the exam day:
- CEE has not specified a dress code for exam day, but candidates should avoid flashy attire and jewellery. Go for simple clothing without many pockets to prevent any issues and suspicion.
- Students are required to report to the examination centre on the day of the examination with the admit card downloaded from the website of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, cee.kerala.gov.in.
- Students must report to the centre for the examination at the reporting time indicated on the admit card.
- After the reporting period ends, a mock test will be conducted to familiarise the candidates with the computer-based examination method. This will be followed by the computer-based entrance examination.
- Electronic devices such as calculators, mobile phones, smart watches, etc., are not allowed in the examination hall.
- Once reported to the examination centre, students will not be allowed to leave before the end of the examination.
- Parents are not allowed to enter the building where the online exam is being held.
- Students should bring essential items like pens and pencils. These should not be shared with others in the examination hall.
- The instructions of the invigilators must be strictly followed.

The KEAM 2026 exam will be held today. Day 1 of the exam is for engineering candidates. There is only one shift today from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Commonly asked questions
KEAM question papers can be downloaded from the official website cee.kerala.gov.in. In. KEAM is held in CBT mode with one paper that has three sections (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) for BTech candidates and two (Physics, Chemistry) for BPharm candidates. The KEAM 2026 entrance exam for engineering courses will consist of 150 questions, with Mathematics having 75 questions, Physics having 45 questions, and Chemistry having 30 questions. Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the exam. For candidates appearing for KEAM 2026 BPharm ONLY, the entrance exam will have 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry, to be completed within 90 minutes. Each correct answer will fetch candidates four marks, while every incorrect answer will result in a deduction of one mark.
CEE has officially stated that candidates who miss the KEAM entrance exam will not be given another chance, as no re-examination will be conducted for absentees.
CEE will release the KEAM 2026 answer keys in April 2026, tentatively, after the exam in all shifts is completed. Answer keys will be uploaded at cee.kerala.gov.in with candidate response sheets and question papers. Candidates can download the KEAM 2026 answer key PDFs to calculate their probable score in the exam before the result is published.
