KEAM Option Registration 2025 Extended to July 18; Revised Allotment Dates to be Announced
CEE has postponed the KEAM 2025 option registration deadline from July 16 to July 18. The provisional seat allotment result will be released based on the candidates' KEAM ranks and their registered options. The updated dates for the seat allotment are yet to be disclosed. Candidates who intend to participate in the KEAM counselling need to finalise their option registration before the revised deadline, which is July 18.
KEAM 2025 Option Registration Procedure
The procedure to register options during KEAM 2025 counselling includes the following steps:
- Access the āCandidate Portalā at cee.kerala.gov.in using your Application Number and Password.
- Go to the option registration page by selecting the āOption Registrationā Link.
- Make the payment for the option registration fee and register your options.
- Save the registered options.
- Review and print the list of registered options.
- Log off from the āCandidate Portalā.
Candidates engaging in KEAM counselling are required to pay the option registration fee. The fee structure for the KEAM 2025 option registration is as follows:
- For candidates from the SC/ST/OEC category and those eligible for benefits according to G.O.(Ms) No.25/2005/SCSTDD dated 20.06.2005 and G.O. (Ms) No.10/2014/BCDD dated 23.05.2014, along with candidates from Juvenile Home, Nirbhaya Home, and Sree Chitra Home: INR 500 (The registration fee for these candidates will be deducted from the caution deposit once they secure admission in the designated college/course.)
- For all other candidates: INR 2,000. (This registration fee will be deducted from the tuition fee for candidates who gain admission based on allotments.)
The registration fees for candidates who do not receive an allotment will be refunded, while those who do not complete their admission process will not receive a refund.
Registration fees can be paid at any Head Post Office in Kerala or via online payment. A list of available Post Offices can be found on the website - cee.kerala.gov.in.

A list of Course-College combinations available for allotments through the KEAM CAP will be displayed on the Option Registration page of the candidate based on the stream (s) the candidate is eligible for. For example, a candidate included only in the Engineering stream will see the Engineering courses together with the corresponding two-letter codes (Eg:- AE - Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, EC - Electronics and Communication Engineering etc.). Similarly, a candidate in the Medical Stream will see the Medical courses together with the corresponding two-letter codes (Eg:- MM-MBBS, MD-BDS, BA-BAMS etc.). A candidate eligible for both Engineering and Medical streams will see both Engineering and Medical courses. All the Colleges under the stream (s) applicable to the candidate will be shown with their respective three-letter codes (Eg:- TVE-College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, TVM-Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram etc.).

Here all the eligible options of the candidate will be displayed coursewise and the candidate is expected to enter their preference number for a particular combination.
