MHT CET 2027 Exam Centre Update: Why the change?
Currently, candidates can submit their district preferences for the exam centres while while applying for MHT CET. However, the CET Cell is considering discontinuing this option and allotting centres based on the PIN codes of their class 12th colleges. The proposal follows concerns over candidates from Pune and Mumbai choosing distant districts, like Chandrapur, Nandurbar and Gadchiroli where examination supervision is suspected to be less stringent.Β The proposal aims to reduce the possibility of malpractices and also to avoid unnecessary long-distance travel.
