Students who will be appearing for final year/semester exam will have to reach 1 hour in advance to the exam centres for thermal screening, the Madhya Pradesh University said.

Madhya Pradesh University has asked students appearing for final year/ semester exams to reach the exam centre 1 hour prior to the scheduled time for thermal screening. The MP University will be conducting the final year examinations as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines.

In case the student is not able to reach the exam centre on time, then the candidate can appear for the final semester exams from the exam centre nearest to them. The appearing students will have to specify the exact reason to which he/she has come to appear for the exam in a different center.

The University has also asked the colleges to make the Budget for the sanitization work of the exam centers for every examination after some principals have raised the question of the extra expenditure of sanitization. However, the varsity and the Directorate of Higher Education, DHE want the colleges to bear the charges from the college funds.

While speaking to a media house, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Exam Controller, Dr. Ashesh Tiwari said, โ€œAll the exam centers have been asked to ensure arrangements for 15-20 additional students in case of emergency. The reason stated by the students should be genuine for the centers to permit.โ€

โ€œThe colleges have also been asked to look for an agency on college-level and get the sanitization done on their level. The varsity, however, asked them to make a budget and try to consider it," he added.

The University has decided to conduct a special examination for those students who were affected with COVID19 but got a negative report after treatment after a span of three months. They have to produce government documents to substantiate their situation.
