NAT 2018 Exam Dates and Application Process

NAT 2018 exam dates will be released soon. The exam is conducted in the month of May/June every year. However, the NAT 2017 exam was conducted on June 11, 2017.

The National Admission Test (NAT) exam is conducted by Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT), Panipat for admissions to the BTech programmes offered at the institute. Admission to 50% seats (including 15% All India Category seats) will be given by the Haryana State Counseling Society through 'online off campus' Centralized Counseling based on the JEE Main 2018 Merits. The remaining 50% seats will be kept reserved for the institute and admissions to these seats will be given on the basis of the NAT exam.

The application dates for admission through NAT 2018 are not yet announced. The candidates can still have a look at the tentative NAT 2018 application dates.

NAT 2018 Application Process

The candidates seeking admission to the 4 year BE/BTech programmes offered at Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT), Panipat will have to follow the steps below. These instructions will give you an idea about filling the NAT 2018 application form and will guide your throughout the admission process.

Step 1: NAT 2018 Application Form and Payment of Application Fee

The candidates will have to register online on the official website in order to apply for taking the NAT 2018 exam. After successful registration, the downloadable application will be made available. For the same, a Demand draft of 700/- in favour of "APIIT SD INDIA", payable at Panipat is required to be attached with the filled in application form and has to be sent at APIIT SD India, Faridpur Road, GT Road, Karnal Side, Near Toll Plaza, Panipat- 132103 (Haryana).

The candidates can also obtain the application form in person by paying an amount of Rs. 700/. The payment is to be made in the form of a Demand Draft in favour of "APIIT SD INDIA", payable at Panipat. The same needs to be send at APIIT SD India, Faridpur Road, GT Road, Karnal Side, Near Toll Plaza, Panipat- 132103 (Haryana).

Students will receive the Acknowledgment Card (Form C) within a week of receiving the application form.

Step 3: Photograph and Signature 

At this stage, the candidates will also require three self-attested passport size photographs - 1 to be pasted on the application form & 1 each on attestation Form A and Form B.

This will complete the filling of the NAT 2018 application form, which can now be sent to the given address through post.

Step 4: NAT 2018 Admit Card

The attested form of the NAT 2018 admit cards will be sent to the qualified candidates through post. The NAT 2018 Admit Card will reach the candidates 15 days prior to the NAT 2018 exam date.

It is mandatory for the candidates to carry their admit cards to the allotted exam centre. Failing which the candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Admit card is an important document which should be preserved until the final admission process is successfully conducted.

Step 5: Appear for NAT 2018 Exam

The candidates seeking admissions to the undergraduate engineering courses offered by Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT), Panipat will have to appear for the NAT 2018 as per the date mentioned on the admit cards. The candidates are advised to reach the exam center on time along with the required documents and other needful.

Step 6: NAT 2018 Exam Results

The results for NAT 2018 are typically announced in the first week of June. After which the candidates get an idea about their choice of college and courses which is dependent on the document verification and the counselling process.
