NIRF Ranking 2025 Released at nirfindia.org: IIT Madras, Dominates the Overall and Engineering Category

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) has released the NIRF Ranking 2025 TODAY (September 4). The Indian Institute of Madras ranks top in the Overall and Engineering category. In its 10th edition, India’s premier institutional ranking, here is the list of top engineering colleges in India based on their quality performance.
NIRF 2025 Ranking for Engineering Category Announced: The Ministry of Education has officially released the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) Rankings 2025 today (September 4) on its website nirfindia.org. IIT Madras, yet again, strongly claimed the first position in the Overall and Engineering Category section.
This is the 10th edition of the rankings, which are announced annually to highlight the country's top institutions. The launch event took place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi and was felicitated by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Honourable Minister for Education.
This year, in the 10th edition, the NIRF rankings were released in nine categories: overall, universities, colleges, research institutions, innovation, state public universities, open universities, skill universities, and sustainable development goals, along with eight subject domains - engineering, management, pharmacy, medical, architecture and planning, law, dental, and agriculture and allied sectors.
