NIT Warangal to offer free GATE Coaching for BTech Students: Check Eligibility, Dates, and Steps to Apply
NIT Warangal (SC-ST) cell will conduct free GATE coaching classes to third and fourth year BTech candidates, starting from November 17. Offline registrations are open and the duration of the programme is eight weeks. Read below to check about the application process, eligibility, documents and more.
NIT Warangal (ST/SC cell) is conducting a free GATE coaching session for BTech students. Offline application forms are available at nitw.ac.in. The coaching classes are offered to students of NIT Warangal and other engineering colleges in and around Warangal. The NIT Warangal GATE coaching classes will be held from November 17, 2025 to January last week. IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 exam on the scheduled dates - February 7, 8, 14, and 15.
Required Instructions to Follow for Registration
Candidates can check the list of rules and regulations applicable for NIT Warangal GATE coaching classes below-
- Candidates will be provided an ID card to attend classes
- GATE classes will take place from November 17 to last week of January (including Saturdays)
- Class timings are 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Regular-based exams will be held in the campus
- Weekly exam results will be announced and toppers will be awarded according to the department
- Students with attendance rate 90 to 100% will also be rewarded
- Maintaining attendance is must, missing 4 classes consecutively can cancel your admission
- Candidates who are in third and fourth year in BTech students are eligible for the course (all branches included)
Registration Process and Documents Required
The mode of application form is offline. Students have to enter their personal and college details along with a passport-size photograph and enclose form with following documents -
- SSC
- Caste certificate
- College ID card or Aadhar card
- GATE application form
- One passport size photograph
GATE 2026 Exam
IIT Guwahati will be conducting GATE 2026 exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15. The entrance test will take place in two shifts - forenoon (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). Candidates appearing for the exam must download their GATE admit card 2026 on January 2 at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
