No BITSAT Required? Check How Admission is Offered at BITS Pilani Dubai Campus

Four of BITS campuses offer admission to its B.E programmes- Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai. While admission to BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad is offered based on BITSAT exam, admission to Dubai is based on modality. Check eligibility, selection process and key details below.

Admission without BITSAT; Eligiblity, Admission, Application Process

BITS Pilani Dubai Campus admissions are based on Class 12 marks with no entrance exam, not even the institute’s BITSAT exam. It considers the candidate’s merit in the qualifying exam. Applicants have to fill the application form, upload the documents and pay the fee to apply for admission. A merit list will be drawn based on the candidate’s performance in the exam. Candidates will be called for admission based on their performance in the qualifying examination.

BITS Pilani - Dubai Campus: Eligibility Criteria

BITS Pilani Dubai admissions are based on the qualifying exam performance. There is no separate entrance test like BITSAT specifically for Dubai admissions.

• To apply for the B.E programme, candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent with at least 60% overall and at least 50% in each subject separately.
• To apply for M.E/MBA, candidates must have passed their Bachelor’s with 60% aggregate or equivalent.

BITS Pilani Dubai Application Process

The application process is online on the BITS Dubai website itself. Candidates have to register, fill the form, upload the documents and pay an application fee of AED 220. Admissions for the September 2026 session will open in February 2026.

Scholarships & Benefits

The institute offers merit based scholarships and also considers BITSAT scores for additional scholarship benefits, even though they are not mandatory for admission.

Quoting UAE News 247, “BITS Pilani Dubai Campus has witnessed a 62% increase in first-degree admissions and 180% growth in higher-degree enrollments in 2025-26 compared to previous years. Students can consider this campus for programme flexibility, diversity and admission without BITSAT.
