Not Satisfied with JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result? Registration for April Session 2 Now Open- Tips to Boost Your Score
NTA released the JEE Main 2026 Result on February 16. A total of 12 candidates scored 100 percentile in the exam. Candidates who are not satisfied with their score in the session 1 exam can apply for the April attempt. JEE Main Session 2 registration 2026 is open until February 25 and the exam will be held between April 2 to 9, 2026.
NTA has announced the JEE Main Result 2026 Session 1 result. Candidates can check their result from the website jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and password. While many students have achieved high percentile scores required for JEE Adv and for admission in top NITs, there are many who did not get their desired scores and are far from achieving JEE Main 2026 cutoff.
Candidates with less percentile scores have a big reason to cheer as theyโve still got the session 2 exam in April. They can improve their performance in the JEE Mains 2026 April session 2 exam if they prepare well and learn from the mistakes they made in the first attempt.

How to Fill JEE Main Session 2 Application Form 2026
The instructions to fill JEE Main 2026 application form session 2 are
- Open JEE Main official website โ jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Candidates who have already applied in session 1 exam, they need to click on โAlready Registered candidateโ link
- Login using your session 1 application number and password
- Select the paper for which applying, exam city preference and the language of paper.
- Pay application fee and submit the application form
Candidates who did not appeared in the session 1 exam have to register as fresh candidate and fill the detailed application form.

Tips to Boost Your Score in JEE Main 2026 Session 2
Candidates who have appeared in the first attempt exam held in January can follow these tips to improve their score in the April session exam.
- Firstly, evaluate the mistakes you did in the first attempt exam. It can be around not giving sufficient time to revision, not solving mock tests/previous year papers or not completing the syllabus.
- Find out the weak areas in every subject and study those topics
- Understand the subject-wise weightage of topics asked in the first attempt exam and plan to study those topics
- Solve JEE Main papers of the January attempt exam to improve time management
- Take mock tests and previous year papers.
Since only 1 month is left for JEE Main 2026 session 2 attempt, candidates must plan their preparation carefully to get the desired score for admission in their preferred college.
