NPCIL is planning to recruit engineering graduates as executive trainees for various disciplines- Mechanical Engineering (ME), Chemical Engineering (CH), Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics Engineering (EE), Instrumentation Engineering (IN), and Civil Engineering (CE). Aspirants with valid GATE 2026/2025/2024 scores are eligible to apply.

The detailed advertisement regarding the NPCIL GATE 2026 jobs will be released on the NPCIL official website - npcil.careers.com or npcil.nic.in within 10 days after the announcement of the GATE 2026 result (March 19). 

NPCIL GATE 2026 Recruitment: Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted for NPCIL Executive Trainee posts based on the GATE scores. In addition, they must have completed BTech/BE/BSc in engineering or a five-year integrated MTech programme. The minimum qualifying marks must be 60% from a recognised university. 

About GATE 2026

This year, IIT Guwahati is conducting GATE 2026 across 200 cities to offer higher studies, research, and PSU jobs. GATE 2026 registrations are ongoing. The GATE 2026 application form last date with no late fees is October 6 and with late fees is October 9. The GATE 2026 admit card link will be activated on January 2, and the exam will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts. 

How to fill GATE Application Form 2026?

Candidates have to register for the GATE 2026 exam on GOAPS portal. The step-by-step process to apply can be checked below -

• Visit the official website of GATE 2026 - gate2026.iitg.ac.in
• Click on the application form portal link
• Register to get enrollment ID. Create a password of  8 to 15 characters and fill out the application form.
• Fill all the details carefully and upload the documents as per specifications. 
• Pay the application fee and confirm the declaration.
• Submit and take a printout of the submitted form.
