NTA JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration Starts @ jeemain.nta.nic.in; Here's Direct Link to Apply
The National Testing Agency has started registration for the JEE Main 2026 April session. The candidates who want to apply for the JEE Main session 2 exams can apply for the exam at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The application process is open until February 25.
NTA has released the JEE Main application form 2026 for the April session. The last date to complete the JEE Mains registration is February 25. Candidates who have appeared for the January session can also apply for the April session to improve their score. The candidates who will be appearing for the April session to improve their scores do not have to register for the exam from scratch; they can select their exam centre and proceed to pay the application fee. However, the candidates who will be applying for the first time have to complete the registration process from the start.
JEE Mains application process 2026 includes registering for the exam, filling the application form, capturing a live photo, uploading the required documents and paying the application fee.

The steps to apply for JEE Main 2026 session 1 are as follows:
JEE Main 2026 registration: Candidates have to click on the JEE Main 2026 Registration link available on the official website.
Filling of JEE Main 2026 application form and uploading documents: At this stage, candidates have to fill in personal details, the paper for which applying, select the examination cities, provide the details of educational qualifications and upload the images and documents.

No, JEE Main application form can only be filled online. The application form of JEE Main is released only in online mode on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. There is no option of filling the application form in offline mode. Candidates who do not have a laptop/personal computer can visit the computer centre/common service centres to fill the application form. While filling the JEE Main 2026 application form, candidates will also have to upload scanned image of their photo and signature. Candidates belonging to reserved category (Gen-EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) also need to upload the category certificate.
Candidates can pay JEE Main application fees using any one of the following method
- Credit/debit card of any nationalised bank
- Internet banking
- UPI
- Paytm
Before paying the application fee, candidates should check whether there is requisite balance in the Bank Account / Wallet/Debit/credit card. In case any candidate faces difficulty in the payment of application fees, they can contact NTA helpline number.
