When will JEE Mains 2026 results be declared? -ย The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the JEE Main 2026 result date in its information brochure. The JEE Mains 2026 result date for session 1 is February 12, while for session 2 it is April 20, 2026. To check the results, candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. The JEE Main session 1 result will only mention the NTA scores or the percentile. Candidates will be able to check their ranks along with the session 2 results only, as NTA considers the best of two attempts.
Before the results are declared, the testing agency will release the provisional and final answer keys, which students can use to calculate their expected scores before the results. The provisional JEE Mains answer key 2026 is expected by February 1-2. Before the results for session 1, NTA will also open the JEE Mains 2026 registration for session 2. Candidates can check their results and can apply for another attempt in April 2026. The session 2 exam date is April 2 to 9, 2026. The authority will consider the best of two attempts to allot ranks in the exam. Moreover, the results are announced as percentile scores. This helps to neutralise the effect of varying difficulty levels in the exam. In this, the students' performance will be compared to that of other students who appeared in that particular shift only.
