SRMJEEE 2015 counselling begins May 17

SRMJEEE 2015 results got declared on May 4, 2015. Along with the results, SRM University has also released the counselling dates and schedule.

SRMJEEE 2015 counselling for those with ranks up to 6000 will be held on May 17, 2015 at Chennai Main campus followed by those with ranks upto 12000 on May 18.  Counseling for ranks upto 18000 would be held on May 19 and for ranks upto 26000 on May 20, subsequently from 26001 to 70000 will be held from May 21 to 24.

The first 50 rank holders in SRMJEEE 2015 will be awarded the Founders Scholarship. This scholarship entitles them for 100% waiver of tuition fees hostel / transport fees, book fees, CDC and a monthly stipend of Rs. 1000. To encourage entrance examination toppers, the University introduces SRMJEEE Merit Scholarship having two categories as: Rank 51 to 250 – 75% waiver of tuition fee and Rank 251 to 500 – 50% waiver of tuition fee. 

For 200 students who have secured 95%  and above in PCM / PCB  in qualifying examinations and ranked amongst the top 15000 in SRMJEEE, Board Merit Scholarship with a value of 50% of tuition fee waiver will be given in the branch they are eligible for at the time of counseling.

Apart from the above scholarships, SRM University sanctions scholarship for sports personnel, scholarship to economically challenged candidates and scholarship to physically challenged candidates.
