Q:   Can I get admission in SRM University to pursue CSE with 159 marks in SRMJEEE? What will be my rank?
A:
With 159 marks in SRMJEEE you have a good chance of securing admission to SRM University for CSE (Computer Science Engineering) programme. However, your rank will depend on the number of candidates who have appeared for the SRMJEEE and their respective scores. Hence, it is difficult to predict your rank without knowing the scores of other candidates. The rank in SRMJEEE is calculated based on the normalized score of the candidate, which is derived by adjusting the raw score of the candidate with respect to the average and standard deviation of the exam. The rank list is prepared based on the normalized score. To get an estimate of your rank, you can check the previous year's rank lists, which are usually available on the official website of SRM University. However, please note that the cutoffs and the rank lists may vary every year, depending on various factors. It is recommended to check the official website of SRM University or contact the admissions office for more information on the cutoffs and the admission process for the CSE programme. They will be able to provide you with more detailed information on eligibility criteria and the admission process, which will help you make an informed decision.
