TS EAMCET 2026 Counselling Likely by May-End; Admissions to Be Held for 1.16 Lakh Engineering Seats

TGCHE will commence the TG EAPCET 2026 counselling process by the end of May, and a total of  1.16 lakh engineering seats will be on offer this year. Additionally, the local media reported that 70 percent of the seats will be filled under the quota set by the government, and the remaining seats will be filled under the management quota.

This year, the TS EAMCET exams were held on May 4 and 5 for the Agriculture and Pharmacy (AP) stream, and the Engineering stream exams were held from May 9 to 11. The results of both streams were announced on May 17.

TS EAMCET 2026 Counselling Process

TS EAMCET counselling process includes online filing of basic information, payment of processing fee and slot booking for selection of help link centre for offline certificate verification. After verification of certificates, candidates have to exercise options, check seat allotment results, pay the tuition fee and self-report through the website. It is expected that there will be three rounds of counselling and one spot round (depending on seat availability).

Documents Needed for TG EAPCET Counselling 2026

Before the counselling starts, students are advised to be ready with the following documents. All original certificates and 2 sets of Xerox copies of the following certificates must be kept ready beforehand:

• TG EAPCET 2026 Rank Card.
• TS EAMCET 2026 Hall Ticket.
• Aadhaar Card
• S.S.C or its equivalent Marks memo.
• Intermediate or its equivalent Memo-Cum-Pass Certificate.
• VI to Intermediate or its equivalent Study Certificates.
• Transfer Certificate (T.C).
• Income Certificate issued on or after 01-01-2026 by the competent authority, if applicable.
• EWS Income and Asset Certificate issued by the Tahsildar, valid for the year 2026-27, if applicable.
• Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
• Residence Certificate of the candidate for a period of 7 years preceding the qualifying examination, in case the candidate has no institutionalised education.
• In respect of Non-Local candidates, in order to consider them for allotment under unreserved seats, the following certificates need to be submitted.
