TS EAMCET Phase 2 Counselling 2026 Begins Tomorrow; Registration & Fresh Option Entry to Start at tgeapcet.nic.in
The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) will commence the TG EAPCET (formerly TS EAMCET) 2026 Phase 2 counselling from July 17.
Candidates who wish to participate in the TS EAMCET 2026 second phase of the admission process will be able to complete registration, pay the processing fee and exercise fresh web options through the official counselling portal, tgeapcet.nic.in. The council has advised candidates to carefully fill in as many preferred college and course choices as possible to improve their chances of securing a seat in the second round.

The following candidates are eligible to participate in phase 2 counselling:
- Candidates who did not secure a seat in Phase 1
- Those who were allotted a seat but are dissatisfied with their allotment
- Candidates who completed certificate verification but did not exercise options earlier
- Fresh eligible candidates
- Those aspiring for a better college or branch can also take part in the counselling process. However, candidates must note that all web options have to be entered afresh, as the options submitted during Phase 1 will not be considered for the second round.
TG EAPCET 2026 Round 2 Counselling Dates
For candidates who have not completed certificate verification earlier, registration and slot booking will begin on July 17, followed by certificate verification on July 18. Web option entry will be conducted on July 18 and 19, while the option freezing window will close on July 19. The Phase 2 seat allotment result is scheduled to be released on or before July 22, after which shortlisted candidates will have to pay the tuition fee, complete self-reporting and report physically to the allotted institute within the prescribed timeline.
Candidates who are satisfied with their existing allotment and have already completed fee payment and self-reporting are not required to exercise fresh options. However, they must report to their allotted college between July 25 and 28 to confirm admission.
