The Integrated MTech programme at VIT University is a 5-year tailored programme for students who have completed their 10+2. The selection is completely based on 10+2 marks, and no entrance exam is required. Through VIT Integrated MTech course, students will be able to gain technical skills, develop research and practical knowledge that is relevant to the industry. 

VIT Integrated MTech Programme Eligibility: Highlights

  • No entrance exam required

  • Exceptionally good academic performance in 10+2 

  • Nationality must be Indian

  • Candidates must have studied at full-time, formal or regular education

  • Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2006

Minimum Qualifying Marks Required for VIT Integrated MTech Admission

Campus

Minimum Qualifying Mark

VIT Vellore and Chennai campus

70% in PCM

VIT AP and Bhopal campus

65% in PCM

VIT Bhopal (AI and Bioinformatics)

65% in PCM/PCB

For SC/ST category and students from North-Eastern States, a relaxation of 10% is offered in the minimum qualifying marks. SC/ST students have to submit community certificate and north-eastern students must submit their nativity certificate.

VIT Integrated MTech Admission Process

To apply, students can visit admissions.vit.ac.in and head to MTech application form. Register to fill application form. Submit details, upload documents and pay fees. After submission, admissions are conducted based on -

  • Selection based on merit (10+2 marks) aggregate marks rounded upto 2 decimals

  • Shortlisted applicants list will be published on website, based on which students have to add their preferences.

  • Seats are allotted based on rank, preference, campus, and programme

  • Selected students will receive their allotment letter to pay tuition fee. 

To sit in VIT placements, students need to have a minimum 60% marks both in class 11th and 12th.
